WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS? | #Christmasinthefastlanes

Hi everyone! I've been trying to put off doing this post for two reasons. The first being that this marks the end of christmas *sighs* and the second being that I am still yet to spend all of my christmas money. Even though i only got a few presents, it was the most money i have ever had spent on me.

Every year we get lots of little presents and one big present, but this year was bigger (and more expensive) than ever. As my BIG present, I received a Macbook Pro with retina display! I am currently using it now to blog and it also comes in very handy with coursework as i need photoshop and word. It cost just over £1000 but i think its totally worth it and I've never been so careful and cautious with something in my life.

I also got a book by Sophie Mas, Audrey Diwan, Anne Berest (some french) and Caroline de Maigret (Very french) called 'How to be parisian, wherever you are'. This book is based on their very original views on style, culture, attitude and men alongside making fun of their complicated feelings and behaviour. I started reading this 2 days ago and I'm already half way through. As soon as you pick up the book and start reading its hard to put down.

Another book i got was a floral diary for 2015. This comes in really handy as i can write down college homework, or any blog posts that need to be done for certain days.

I have mentioned the Yankee candle 'Fireside treats' in one of my monthly favourites and as well as giving it to a friend as a present, i received the biggest version. I love this scent so much hopefully it will last till next christmas when i can get another.

From my best friend, who is also a blogger, i got a box of chocolates shaped as makeup (they didn't last long) and a nice little vanity set with mirrors a frame and a vase. Perfect for shelf life.

Other than all the lush bath bombs and chocolate, the last present i received was the gift set 'the bronze of champions' from benefit cosmetics. Inside it contains Hoola bronzing powder, Ultra plush lip gloss, watt's up highlighter, bikini-tini cream eyeshadow, thanks a latte powder eyeshadow and they're real mascara. I absolutely adore all of these products and I've been wearing them everyday since christmas.

Thats pretty much everything, I did also receive £100 off my dad so I went on a massive shopping spree but i got so much I'm going to save it for a separate haul.

What's your favourite thing about christmas? What's your favourite gift you received at christmas?Comment below.

Thank you for reading, I hope you all had a nice christmas. Give this post a cheeky like and don't forget to follow for more posts. Big kiss! S.

  1. I've heard so much about the "How to be Prisian"-book that I think I have to give it a read, too.
I also got a new laptop. A bigger screen makes editing and blogging a lot easier and more fun.

  4. I love spending time with my family and friends during christmas. This year we celebrated christmas with our whole family, and I had a great time. My favorite christmas gift was from my twin sister. She got me a Erin Condren life planner. I've wanted one for years now :)

    Love your blog, it's beautiful.
