COMMON WHITE GIRL TAG! 

Hi! Hope your all well? Today I'm doing the common white girl tag which is a series of questions about...well, the common white girl. Here's the first question...
 

1. What is your favourite Starbucks drink? 

It depends what season it is! In the summer my favourite Starbucks drink is a  iced caramel latte which is basically just cold coffee. But in the winter my favourite drink from Starbucks is a white hot chocolate.

2. How long does it take you to get ready in the mornings? 

It would usually take 40 minutes but if I decide to have shower as well then it would take another 30 minutes because id have to dry my hair. 

3. How many times per day do you take a selfie?

I don't take a selfies daily! Only when I've done my hair and makeup nicely which is usually once a week. 

4. How many Instagram followers and pictures do you have? 

I'm a Instagram addict, so I've posted 1105 pictures and I have 828 followers. 

5. Do you ever say 'LOL' or 'OMG' out loud?

I used to when it was considered cool but not anymore! I say 'OH MY GOD' a lot but not 'OMG'. 

6. Do you wear the same item of clothing more than once? 

When I'm at home, I live in my comfiest  jumper. But if I go out with friends, they won't see me wearing that top again.

I don't know why? I'm just like that.

7. Are you racist? 

 I'm not trying to be boring, I'm just against racism. So when somebody tells a racist joke, I won't laugh. I'll just sit there. 

8. How many tweets do you have? 

5,591! Is that a lot? I don't really know?

9. Instagram, Twitter or Tumblr?

I've said it before! I'll say it again... I am the biggest INSTAGRAM ADDICT!! 

10. What do you spend most of your time doing?

Aswell as being a Instagram addict, I am also a Shopaholic! I suppose that's another reason why I started blogging!

11. Who are your favourite youtubers?

I have quiet a few favourite youtubers such as clothesencounters, Beautycrush,  HelloOctober and EssieButton! 

12. How often do you do your nails? 

I change my nail colour every week, so once a week maybe more. 

13. Are you a shopaholic? 

YES!

14. How many times have you watched Mean Girls?

Too many times for me to count! ∞

15. Do you own many clothes? 

Perhaps, too many! My friends are always saying I love your clothes and you have so many. So I guess I do.

16. Do you take pictures of your food before you eat it? 

Only if it looks nice which is usually more than 2 times a week. 

17. Do you always wear makeup?

I won't go out the house without makeup unless I'm just taking the dog for a walk. But if i don't plan on going out, I won't wear makeup. 

18. What are your grades in school? 

It depends on the subject! Like in dance I'm an A but in science I'm a B. 

19. How do you usually style your hair?

Always down and straight.

20. Do you always look presentable? 

I've just finished high school and I did not go one day without makeup. I plan to do the same with college.

JULY FAVOURITES | Lifeinthefastlanes.

 A July post in August: July favourites!

Hi! I know this post is 11 days late but I suppose its better late than never. Over this past month a lot of new things as well as some old things have been welcomed into this months favourites. So I thought id talk you through my beauty and non-beauty loves.

I'm going to start with some beauty favourites, three of which came from July's birchbox. The first out of the three, Benefits POREfessional Primer has worked wonders on my skin. You could not imagine all the things I've tried to hide my pores! I tried pore strips and tons of natural remedies, yet not one could compare to the POREfessional. Yes it is on the pricey side but I promise its worth it. You can tell the improvement just by looking in the mirror! I always use it when I know the cameras are going to be out and I'm yet to be disappointed. You just lightly pat it onto your t-zone area from the centre outward before applying your make-up. You can even carry it around in your bag if you feel like a touch up.
Another favourite from Birchbox is the Balance Me Eye Cream. I find it can be very sticky after application however I have noticed an improvement in my skin around my eyes and for that I thank Birchbox otherwise I never would of found this product. 
Lastly from Birchbox, Absolute New York Eyeshadow Primer.  I've seen a lot of bloggers use eyeshadow primers but it never crossed my mind to use one myself. At first I wasn't really sure if an eye primer was worth the money however I have used this product ever since I got it and my under eye concealer has lasted a lot longer. In the long run its worth it as you don't need to reply makeup over and over as it lasts longer, so you save more money than expected.
Keeping to the theme of skincare, my absolute favourite product is the Origins Drink Up Intensive overnight mask. I will definitely purchase this item over and over, I can not put into words how good my skin feels in the morning! It just feels so refreshed and healthy, not only does that make my skin feel good but it puts me in good mood too.  
Another purchase I expected to show up in my favourites is the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion+. So many people have bragged about this product so I thought it was about time I got it. But was it worth the hype? YES! My skin has made a massive improvement since I started using this. Even instantly after application it feels softer and healthier. I would recommend this product to everyone, enough said!
I  also have a lot from Lush Cosmetics in my favourites this month but instead I'm just going to show them in a separate blog post based on lush products, so keep an eye out for that.

I recently picked up three new make-up products and I absolutely love them. Purchase number one, Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip colour in Tawny pink, I found this lipstick to be a little dry but the colour is worth the sacrifice. Number two, MAC Eye Kohl in Teddy, I have nothing bad to say about this product. It has become part of my daily routine and I'm glad I bought it. Last but not least, Urban Decay Naked Basics palette, Every colour looks stunning on the skin, from the lightest shade to the darkest shade.

Hair is also very important when it comes to looking after, this is why I have been using the Lee Stafford Growth & Repair Hair Mask. I've been using this to help grow my hair and trust me it works. My hair grows twice as fast + looks shiny and healthy. 

Moving on to my non-beauty favourites. I recently did a post based on my Triangl Bikini's, and I'm still in love with them as much as the day I first got it. They definitely deserve to be in my July Favourites.
I've also recently just finished reading two books, the first was 'IT' by Alexa Chung, and the second, 'Across the Universe' by Beth Revis. I usually just get bored half way and stop reading but I finished both books and I would happily read them again.

Lastly I'd like to mention my new Celine' Paris Bag I actually got of eBay because they are so expensive but its still in perfect condition and I take it everywhere just to flash it about.

1. What is your pets name? 

→ Socks! Your probably thinking why? But the reason for this is he used to attack my feet a lot when I was sitting down so I'd protect then with socks.

2. What kind of pet is it? And what breed?

→ I have tons of animals! One dog, fish and 5 cats to be precise. But I'm just talking about MY cat (he's my pet and the others are my mums and brothers) and he's a tabby. 

3.How long have you had your pet?

→ About 2 years.

4,How did you get your pet?

→ I found a kitten online called Paul, and I really wanted him. We went to have a look at him but he had already gone to a new home. So as I was leaving I saw this cute tabby called Tyler and it was love at first sight, I just had to get him so I did. 

Nowadays I'm happy that Paul wasn't there because I love my cat!! 

5.How old is your pet?

→ 2-3 years old.

6. What are some quirky things about your pets personality? 

→ Socks is a lot like me! I don't like to be forced into doing something, I have to do it in my own time, in my own way and so does socks. 

→I also love how shy he is (also a lot like me)! For some reason if your watching him he won't cuddle you but when you wake up in the morning he's tucked asleep under your arm because he knows you weren't watching. 

→ Lastly, when I'm on my phone he likes to come over and knock it out my hand to get some attention! Which I love. 

7. What does your relationship with your pet mean to you? 

→Put it this way, id be bored without him.
 

8. What are some of your favourite past times with your pet?

→Every morning when I wake up with him either sleeping on my head or tucked under my neck.
 

9. What nicknames do you call you pet?

→ I just call him whatever I feel like calling him in the moment. At one point I called him Buddha belly because he was so chubby. But I call him baby and babbity on a daily basis.
