HAPPINESS BOUTIQUE

Hi everyone! This morning I had a package come to my door, from the Berlin-based online store 'Happiness Boutique'. I did already know what it was as happiness boutique emailed me a few days before, asking me to choose a necklace. But I was still surprised by the packaging! 

The necklace came in this simplistic box, along with their business card, a polaroid photo, some tips and the quote...

Incase you were wondering what necklace I chose, it's the 'Urban chic statement necklace'. I like to keep things simple and basic, especially when it comes to jewellery and fashion. I noticed I didn't have any statement necklaces so I decided to step out of my comfort zone and go with this one. I chose to pair this necklace with an all black outfit as it's such a bold statement piece, I feel any colour would take that away.

Hi everyone! For the first time on this blog, I'm going to be talking about wedding dresses. Now unless you've been living under a rock, I'm pretty sure we've all seen the film 'Bridesmaids'. Yes, it's probably one of the funniest films ever but it points out that planning a wedding can be very stressful.

SUMMER VIBES

Preparing for summer + things to do!

Hi everyone! I realised I haven't done a blog post in a while, at least one that I haven't been paid to do. So I thought I'd just do one for fun like I used to. And, being that its summer, I thought this was a suitable subject. 

Anyway, I finished college about two weeks ago so my summer has already started. Lucky for me. However, it doesn't feel like that at all because I did not prepare for it. My plans for summer were just dye my hair a lighter colour, get a henna tattoo and spend every day at the beach. I didn't actually think to book an appointment at my local salon until 2 weeks into summer and my (supposed to be black) henna turned green. And as far as everyday at the beach goes, Ive been once in the past 2 weeks. This is why I have decided to help you plan your summer and find ways to make the most of it.

1. Starting with any changes you want to make like dying your hair or getting henna tattoos etc. Make sure you book your appointments before the summer holiday starts. The reason I haven't been out so far this summer is because I've been waiting to get my hair done. Now that it is done, I have to wait for my next appointment soon because its not quite finished yet. 

2. I know its not just me who does this, every year I imagine all the crazy things I'm going to be doing this summer but it never happens. Usually because I don't have the money. So I've come up with lists of inexpensive activities that you can do. Over on my Pinterest account I have created a 'Summer Vibes' board that I recommend checking out. Its full of activities to do, some at home, some at the beach or wherever. Go look at it and try something different, you never know you might end up loving it.
