CHRISTMAS PARTY MAKEUP LOOK | #Christmasinthefastlanes

Hi everyone! I just wanted to start by apologizing for not blogging these past two weeks due to being ill. There's only 4 days till Christmas and so far I only have a Christmas present for my cat. Putting all that aside, I have finally come to doing my #Christmasinthefastlanes blog series, starting with my Christmas makeup look. This suttle smokey eye with bold red lips was inspired by the gorgeous Kendall Jenner as well as some added touches of my own.

(These two images don't have any filters so that you can see the colours of the products)

Starting off with a clean and moisturized face, I'm going in with the Benefits porefessional primer because I find that makeup applies smoother and lasts longer when I do.
I then dot a pump of the No7 Stay perfect foundation all over my face distributing the product evenly to hide any spots and discolouration.
After blending it in with a buffing brush, I use the collection perfection concealer to brighten under my eyes and around my nose covering any redness.
I then prime my eyelids with the Absolute New York eye shadow primer and to seal all of my hard work, I set my makeup with the Maybelline New York Fit me powder.

Using the Real techniques detailer brush I fill in my lack of brows with faint from the urban decay naked palette. I find it matches my hair colour nicely and looks really natural.
Going back to my eyelids I use the Maybelline 24hr colour tattoo in on an on bronze all over my lid as a base. Its just a nice taupe colour, a few shades darker than my skin tone.
To create a more angled look, I'm using snakebite from the Urban decay 2 palette in the outer third of my eye. I'm also taking that onto the outer third under my eye.
I then used (eye shadow I've forgotten name of) from my Mac palette in the centre of my eyelid as its a nice shimmery rose gold shade.
On the inner third of my eye I used a mix of foxy and bootycall also from the naked 2 palette to brighten up my eyes.
I used the Benefit push-up eyeliner to create that cat eye flick and the Mac eye kohl in teddy to line my eyes.
Then to finish of the eyes, I used benefits bad gal lash mascara for longer lashes on the top and on the bottom lashes I used Bobbi browns perfectly defined mascara.

Moving on to the bold red lips, I lined them with No7's Perfect lips liner in Fire and used Mac's Ruby woo all over.

Finally, I used the bourjois bronzer were the sun would usually hit me to make me look a little more tanned like Kendall. Benefits posie tint liquid blusher on my cheeks and Benefits high-beam highlighter to create a nice glow.

That is my Christmas party makeup look and the 1st post of my #Christmasinthefastlanes series. Expect a lot of posts these next four days as I will be doing a lot of shopping.
